Our Commitment
Local residents and businesses rely on us to help secure their financial futures, but our commitment doesn't end there. We believe that in order to build long-lasting relationships with our clients, we also have to serve the local communities in which they live and work. Here's how we are making a difference in our communities.
MassMutual Brooklyn is actively involved with the following local community organizations:
MEKIMI
MEKIMI provides free and confidential services to hospitalized and homebound children, teens and young adults and their families.
FWD (Friends With Diabetes)
FWD offers education about controlling diabetes and incorporating it into the Jewish tradition and lifestyle.
Bonei Olam
Bonei Olam is a worldwide organization that assists with funding for all aspects of infertility related treatments.
RCCS (Rofeh Cholim Cancer Society)
RCCS provides an array of services for cancer-stricken patients in need; primary among them is the subsidizing of health insurance premiums, enabling them to obtain the best possible medical care.
Kollel Shomrei HaChomos
Kollel Shomrei HaChomos is a support network of tzeddakah founded over a hundred fifty years ago by the ChasamSofer, Rabbi Moshe Sofer, who undertook to renew the tradition of supporting the Jews of Eretz Yisroel, as exhorted by the holy taana R’ Meir Ba’al HaNes nearly two millennia previous. Jews have supported their brethren with love through this venerable charity for generations.
Chevra Hatzalah
Chevra Hatzalah, a non-profit corporation, is the largest all-volunteer Ambulance Service in the United States, providing premium quality pre-hospital emergency medical treatment and transportation at no cost to all who need it, regardless of race, religion or ethnicity. Chevra Hatzalah volunteers put their life on pause to respond to emergency calls, often leaving their jobs, homes, children's graduation ceremonies and warm beds to save lives.
